Click here for a quick and easy install.) “Beautiful World" (2009) This is the 6th video in the series and was created by Firefighter/Paramedic Jason Arney-O'Neil's and this will be his first. The video, "Beautiful World" gets it name from the song that serves as the soundtrack for the video. Speaking of soundtrack, the music in the video was performed by Public Safety Director Lee Vague (intruments and all) and his 11 year old son Grant Vague. The duet underscores the message Jason wanted to convey about keeping an optimistic outlook on life even when at times you have to deal with many unpleasant things while serving the community.

“I Promise" (2008) This is the 5th video to be created for the annual fund raiser. The video shows the dedication and commitment of the men and women of the Woodbury Public Safety department have to the community and their promise and commitment to be ready. This years video will premier Tuesday September 9th at the 2008 Annual Public Safety Dinner. After the dinner the video will be posted here. Produced by Paramedic John Dillon. City of New Orleans Public Safety PSA Here is what they said: This PSA was made in an effort to thank the citizens and city leaders of New Orleans for the continued support of the Public Safety departments. Special thanks to Mr. Steve Taylor and Southern Arkansas University Tech for partnering with the City of New Orleans to make this PSA possible. Most people don't call 911 because they are having a good day - the hope is that the police officers, firefighters, and EMS providers at Woodbury Public Safety make it a better day. This public service announcement shows the importance of this mission, by showing a close call on video captured by squad video. To watch on www.YouTube.com Click Here To watch on www.ParamedicTV.com Click Here “In Their Own Words” (2004) In this four minute video, five cardiac patients talk about their experience with the Woodbury Public Safety Department during their event. This sometimes emotional video emphasizes the importance a quick EMS response can have on the survival of the patient. At the time of the video production, Woodbury had a 50% save rate for cardiac arrest which compared to the national average of 5%. The interviews were set up by Police Officer/Paramedic Rich Schmidt in August of 2004. Rich was the primary medic for each of these patients and has remained in touch with them since their events. We want to thank Dan Yang, Bob Chad, Earl Meandler, John Craig, and Greg Sharp for sharing their stories with us.The video was shot and edited by Paramedic John Dillon for the 2004 Public Safety Dinner and has since been used at conferences and other events to help promote the emergency medical services of the Woodbury Public Safety Department.
